Privacy policy

UPSC PYQ Mock Test is an independent practice site for UPSC previous year papers, based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

  • Your Google account details, when you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture.
  • Your free paper: whether you have used it, which paper it was, and when you submitted it.
  • Your purchases, once payments open: what you bought, the amount, when it starts and ends, and the order and payment references from our payment provider. We never receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • Technical information that our hosting and database providers record to run and protect the service, such as your IP address and browser type.

Your answers, marked questions and time left on an unfinished paper, and the exam you last filtered to, are kept only in your own browser so you can resume. They are not sent to us.

How we use it

  • To sign you in and keep you signed in.
  • To give you your free paper, and the papers you have paid for, for as long as you have them.
  • To process payments and keep the records the law requires.
  • To answer you when you contact us, and to keep the service secure.

We do not show ads, we do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run the service for us, and only what each needs:

  • Supabase, which hosts our sign-in and database, in Mumbai, India.
  • Google, which handles signing in with your Google account under its own privacy policy.
  • Razorpay, which will handle payments under its own privacy policy, once payments open.
  • The company that hosts this website.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies and storage

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser’s storage for the unfinished paper and the exam filter described above. Google’s sign-in may set its own cookies. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account details for as long as you have an account. Payment records are kept for as long as Indian law requires. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete everything else.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account, by writing to anilthapaofficial1@gmail.com. We reply within 7 days. You can also sign out at any time and clear your browser’s storage for this site.
